The IBM 4838 Anyplace Kiosk Model W2D is the equivalent to Model 132 except the Model W2D is preloaded with Windows XP-Professional operatin g system. The Model W2D comes standard with a Intel Celeron M Processor 320 (1.3 GHz, 400 MHz front side bus, 512KB Cache), 40 GB hardfile and 512 MB Memory. Additionally, the Model W2D has a 12-inch Active Color LCD as well as a headphone port and a microphone port. A VESA mount on each unit provides the ability to mount it nearly anyplace: on a wall, in a shelf, on an end cap, tabletop, or pole, or even in a floor- standing enclosure. Identical to Model W2Z except it is supported with Depot warranty service.
