The IBM 4835 Kiosk provides the platform you need to run self-service applications in virtually any environment. Inside, it is Web-enabled and multimedia-ready, with ample processing power and multiple peripheral options. Outside, it features a touchscreen display and an optional sleek, durable enclosure.

Model Abstract 4835-15W

The IBM 4835 Kiosk Model 15W is equivalent to the model 153 except it comes preloaded with the Microsoft Windows XP Professional operating system and has 512 MB memory standard. The model 15W has a 15 Dual Bulb, Active Color LCD with standard as well as a headphone port and a microphone port. It comes standard with a 2.0 Ghz Intel Celeron processor (or faster) and a 40 GB hard disk drive or larger.

• A 15-inch active matrix LCD touchscreen interface
• Robust capacitive touch technology with 1024 x 768 resolution
• 1.2 GHz Intel Celeron processing power (model 152)
• 2.0 GHz Intel Celeron processing power standard with upgrade to 2.4 GHz Intel P4 processor via RPQ (models 153 and 15W)
• A 20 GB or greater hard disk drive (HDD)
• A 3D graphics accelerator for full-motion video and multimedia
• An infrared presence sensor
• Ethernet LAN and Web connectivity
• Up to 32 or 64 MB of video memory (UMA) (model dependent)
• Optional compact flash memory:
• 256 MB, on model 152,
• 512 MB, on models 153 and 15W
• An optional enclosure with an elegant, sleek, space-saving design
• Environmentally hardened components including kiosk printers, integrated speakers, magnetic stripe reader, barcode scanner, keyboard, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for the utmost reliability
