The IBM 4610 SureMark Printer Model DG4 is identical to Model TG4 except DG4 was covered during the warranty period with Depot (EasyServ) warranty service instead of On-Site Service (IOR). This is a Warranty Coverage Admin Model.

Model Abstract 4610-TG4

The 4610 Model TG4 is identical to Model TI4 except TG4 has Iron Gray top and bottom covers. This is a two-station model.

The IBM 4610 SureMark Printer Model TG4 is a high-function model, featuring MICR reading and single pass check handling. This model prints at 52 lines per second and offers support for TrueType fonts. It is capable of printing color thermal papers when the latest firmware is installed. The cover color of this model enables it to be integrated The cover color of this model is Pearl White for the top cover, with either Litho Gray or Storm Gray for the bottom cover. This model can be attached to IBM system units via RS485 or USB interface adapters and it may be attached to other POS manufacturers terminals or PCs via RS-232 or USB. The choice of adapters must be selected during the initial order. However, later modification is available. This model is covered during the warranty period with IBM On-Site Repair Service (IOR). This is a two-station model.

The IBM 4610-TG4 SureMark Printers are available in single-station models, two-station models, and three-station models. The single station models include a direct thermal customer receipt print station. The two-station models include a direct thermal customer receipt station plus an impact slip printing station for multipart forms and checks. The three-station models include a direct thermal customer receipt station, an impact printer slip printing station, and a direct thermal journal print station. Most models support color thermal paper printing, onboard storage of logos and barcodes, and TrueType and scalable fonts. Models are available to support US customers who choose to implement Electronic Check Conversion. These two-station Models offer very high accuracy MICR reading plus check imaging. Other Models are available to support the unique printing requirements of many Asian countries. SureMark Printers are among the smallest available, and single-station models offer flexible mounting options to fit wherever you need them. Paper handling is quick and virtually error-proof. Models are available for both retail and food service terminals. SureMark Printers support USB and RS-485/RS-232 connections to IBM and other POS manufacturers terminals or PCs. Modular interface adapters allow you to choose the best interface today, then upgrade when the time is right. USB offers hot plug/unplug capabilities, plus automatic loading of system configurations and device drivers. SureMark Printer Models emulate both the IBM Model 3 and 4 printers and a variety of Epson printers.
