Turnkey Digital Signage Installation for US-Based Entertainment Venue Chain

Challenge:

A major national entertainment venue chain sought to modernize its digital engagement strategy by deploying a networked digital signage system across its 175+ US-based locations. The objective was to install professional-grade AV and data infrastructure capable of supporting dynamic content, audience analytics, and centralized management. The project required tight coordination between electrical, low-voltage, and AV installation teams—executed on-site without disrupting day-to-day operations.

Solution/Approach:

TDX Tech's experienced project-management team led the multi-site, end-to-end deployment effort using a structured, two-phase approach tailored to the venue’s technical and architectural requirements.

Phase 1: Electrical & Cabling Rough-In

  • Installed multiple new electrical outlets to power displays, cameras, and network equipment.
  • Routed low-voltage data cabling throughout the facility using plenum-rated CAT6 cabling.
  • Mounted all cabling and pathway supports with commercial-grade strut channel, threaded rods, and beam clamps for durability and code compliance.
  • Ensured all cable ends were tested, coiled, and staged at termination points for streamlined installation in Phase 2.

Phase 2: Display, Camera, and Network Installation

  • Mounted digital signage displays throughout the venue using a combination of ceiling and wall brackets. Display positions were aligned with site plans and adapted to existing infrastructure constraints.
  • Installed compact USB-enabled analytics cameras at select displays to capture venue activity, using secure, adjustable mounts.
  • Built out a rack-mounted network stack to house routers, switches, media players, and power conditioning hardware—all professionally wired and labeled.
  • Configured and paired digital media players with their assigned displays, validating signal flow and network connectivity for all endpoints.
  • Performed system-wide testing and finalized installation with full photo documentation for quality assurance.

WebTrax™ Integration: Real-Time Transparency & Accountability

To ensure consistent execution and communication, the project was managed through WebTrax, TDX Tech’s proprietary platform for field service management. Through WebTrax, the team:

  • Coordinated technician scheduling and progress tracking in real time.
  • Captured and stored key deliverables, including photos of installed equipment, wire paths, rack assemblies, and completed checklists.
  • Provided the customer with live visibility into project milestones, technician check-in/check-out times, and service verification.
  • Streamlined documentation and eliminated delays through centralized status reporting and communication.

Materials & Infrastructure Highlights

  • Industrial-grade hardware and mounting accessories ensured long-term durability in a high-traffic public setting.
  • All materials, including fasteners, fittings, and structural supports, were compliant with commercial building codes and AV best practices.
  • Data cabling was terminated and tested to verify signal integrity, and all network components were staged for seamless content integration.
Results/Outlook

TDX Tech delivered a fully integrated digital signage rollout across more than 175 entertainment venues, enabling high-impact visual communication and real-time content delivery, at scale. The client now benefits from centralized control over digital messaging and enhanced audience analytics across all locations.
